Town of Danville Wellhead Protection Plan
The Town of Danville has developed a Wellhead Protection (WHP) Plan, approved by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) on October 30, 2009. Since then, the Local Planning Team has met annually to update the Plan and implement management strategies to protect our drinking water source. The WHP Local Planning Team held its annual meeting on July 10, 2024. The WHP Program focuses on public awareness, education, spill prevention, and reporting.
