TOWN OF DANVILLE, INDIANA CODE OF ORDINANCES
The Town of Danville wishes to remind you of the following Sewer Usage Ordinances concerning sump pumps, etc.
Being illegally connected to the SANITARY sewer system:
51.02 SEWER USAGE: No person shall discharge or cause to be discharged to any SANITARY SEWER, either directly or indirectly, stormwaters, surface water, ground water, roof run-off, subsurface drainage, cooling water, unpolluted water, or unpolluted industrial process water.
51.04 BUILDING SEWERS: No person shall make connection of roof downspouts, exterior foundation drains, areaway drains, or other sources of surface run-off or ground water to a building sewer or building drain which in turn is connected directly or indirectly to a public SANITARY SEWER.
51.16 VIOLATIONS: Any persons found to be violating §§ 51.02(B), (C), or 51.04(H) of this chapter, shall be subject to a penalty not to exceed $100 per month, per billing account.
