Community Notice: Ongoing Projects Around Town

Several improvement projects will be taking place around Danville over the next few weeks:

• 58 West Main Street Repairs: Building repairs are underway. For safety, the sidewalk directly in front of the building and several adjacent parking spaces will be closed during construction.

• Tree Inventory: Starting today and continuing throughout the week, Great Lakes Urban Forestry will be conducting a Tree Inventory for the Town of Danville. There will be no traffic disruptions, but you may see personnel collecting data in public spaces.

• Water Department Maintenance: The Water Department will be performing routine maintenance on water meters and water pits throughout town. This work will continue over the next couple of weeks.

• Town Hall Parking Lot Expansion: The parking lot in front of Town Hall will be closed for parking starting this week and for the duration of the expansion project. Door 3 will remain open and accessible to the public during construction.

• Crack Sealing: Over the next several weeks, Street Department crews will be out sealing cracks in the roadways to help prevent potholes from forming. After sealing, a lubricating spray will be applied to assist in the curing process.
