Town of Danville, Indiana
The Town of Danville is a great place to live, work and do business.
Annual Leaf Cleanup
The Town of Danville’s annual leaf clean-up will begin on Monday, October 27, 2025, and run through Friday, November 14, 2025.
How it works:
-
There are no assigned pickup days. Crews will circulate through the Town regularly throughout the season.
-
Please place your leaves behind the sidewalk, not in the street, to avoid clogging storm drains.
-
You may place leaves out multiple times during the season—if our crew sees a pile, they’ll pick it up.
-
If we happen to miss your pile, call us at 317-745-4180 ext. 4000, and we’ll make sure it gets collected.
Second Clean-Up Round:
-
Leaf collection will resume on December 1, 2025, for a final round lasting 1–2 weeks, weather permitting.
Important Reminders:
-
Yard waste (sticks, grass clippings, brush, etc.) will not be picked up with leaf piles.
-
Do not park on leaf piles – this is a fire hazard and makes collection difficult.
-
Do not place leaf piles around cars, trees, mailboxes, or utility poles – crews need clear access to collect.
-
Bagged leaves will be collected if placed at the curb.
Leaf Drop-Off:
-
Residents may also drop off leaves at the Street Department:
1010 E. Broadway St., Danville, IN 46122 -
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
-
Open: November through December 19, 2025
Spring Leaf Collection:
-
In early April, the Street Department will offer additional leaf clean-up days to collect any remaining leaves from the previous year.
-
Exact dates will be announced closer to that time.
