Leaf Clean-up Update 2025
Leaf Clean-Up Update
We’ve had a lot of leaves falling, so our crews will continue with leaf clean-up without taking a break. Thank you for your patience as we work hard to keep Danville clean and our storm drains clear.
Town of Danville — Annual Leaf Clean-Up
Start Date: October 27, 2025
End Date: Mid-December, weather dependent
How It Works:
There are no assigned pickup days — crews circulate through Town regularly.
Place leaves behind the sidewalk, not in the street, to prevent clogged storm drains.
You may set out leaves multiple times; if crews see a pile, they will collect it.
If your pile is missed, please call 317-745-4180, ext. 4000, and we will ensure it is picked up.
Yard waste (sticks, grass clippings, brush, etc.) is not collected with leaf piles.
Do not park on leaf piles — it is a fire hazard and makes collection difficult.
Keep piles clear of cars, trees, mailboxes, and utility poles so crews can safely access them.
Bagged leaves will be collected if placed at the curb.
