Town of Danville, Indiana
The Town of Danville is a great place to live, work and do business.
Thoroughfare Plan Project 2026
In May 2025, the Town of Danville issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the development of a comprehensive Thoroughfare Plan. The project was awarded to HWC Engineering in June 2025, with work beginning in July 2025. The plan is anticipated to be completed by early fall 2026.
This updated Thoroughfare Plan will replace the 2010 plan and help guide how Danville grows, connects, and moves—now and in the future. It serves as a long-range transportation planning document that identifies existing and future roadways, connections, road classifications, and improvements needed to support the community.
