    1. Resolution 13-2026: Fiscal Plan for Annexation – Town Planner Lesa Ternet will present a resolution that outlines the fiscal impact associated with the Super-Voluntary Annexation as described in Ordinance 9-2026. Will require a Vote.

Ordinance 9-2026: Super-Voluntary Annexation – Town Planner Lesa Ternet will present an ordinance that outlines the Super-Voluntary Annexation of the property located on the west side of Columbia Street at the intersection of Sycamore Lane. The petitioner is the Town of Danville. This was introduced on 8/5/26, had a public hearing on 8/19/26 and is up for adoption tonight. Will require a Vote.

    3. Ordinance 11-2026: Request to Vacate Alley Way – Ben Comer will be representing Hendricks County in a request to vacate several alley ways in the area of the Government Center. This was introduced on 8/19/26 and is up for adoption tonight. Will require a Vote.

    4. Resolution 15-2026: Retirement Weapon – Police Chief Jim Hilton will present a resolution to present a retirement weapon to an officer that is retiring from the Danville Police Department. Will require a Vote.

    5. Resolution 16-2026: Council Procedures – Town Manager Mark Morgan will present a resolution that amends the Council Procedures to include language for entering into contracts. Will require a Vote.

    6. Ordinance 12-2026: Repeal of Food Truck Permits – Town Manager Mark Morgan will present an ordinance to repeal the Town’s Food Truck Permitting Process. Effective 1/1/27, the State of Indiana will be issuing the permits, and they are prohibiting local permitting. This is up for first read and introduction only tonight. Requires no further action.

    7. 2027 Budget: Department Heads Q&A – Clerk/Treasurer Carrie Lofton will present the third look at the 2027 Town of Danville Budget for review by the Council. Department Heads will be present answering questions regarding their specific budgets and requests. Requires no further action.

    8. 2027 Greater Danville Chamber of Commerce Contract – Town Manager Mark Morgan will present the 2027 proposed contract for the Greater Danville Chamber of Commerce. Dollar amount has remained the same. Will require a Vote.
