Stormwater Department

The Stormwater Department is responsible for all activities concerning stormwater management within the Town's incorporated limits, including:
  • Stormwater education

  • Illicit discharge detection and elimination

  • Construction and post-construction inspection

  • Good housekeeping practices

Danville is a designated MS4 community (Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System), with MS4 Permit #INR040126.

Ordinance 17-2024:

The Town has adopted Ordinance 17-2024, establishing a Stormwater Utility and Stormwater User Fee to fund improvements and meet regulatory requirements.

Call 317-745-4180 ext. 3001 to report:

  • Polluters

  • Illegal dumping in storm drains

  • Blocked or damaged storm drains
