Code Enforcement
Our Code Enforcement program aims to educate members of the community on our Code of Ordinances, Unified Development Ordinance, Stormwater/Wastewater Regulations, Building Permits, and other requirements outlined in local, state, and federal law. Through education and administrative enforcement, Code Enforcement helps to maintain property values, prevent blight, encourage economic development, and protect the integrity of our Code. Residential and Commercial alarm systems in the town are part of a registration program per Chapter 90 of the Code of Ordinances.

Transient Merchants:
All solicitors, peddlers, and transient merchants must carry a license approved by the Town of Danville.

Registration is required for all transient merchants within the Town of Danville. Applications must be completed and returned to the Code Enforcement Office located in Town Hall. Special Events:
For-profit parties and special events occurring within the town limits require a permit that will undergo an administrative review process and Town Council approval should there be a need to close public roads.

Mobile Food Vendors (Food Trucks):
Food trucks/carts require a license to operate in the town per Chapter 114 of the Code of Ordinances.
