Public Event Banners
Display a public event banner. You may submit your permit application online or in person in the Town Administration Office, suite 120, located in Town Hall at 49 N. Wayne St. Danville, IN 46122.
Contact the Code Enforcement Office at codeinfo@danvilleindiana.org or 317-745-4180 ext. 1004 for banner display availability. After the application has been approved and the permit fee has been paid allow a minimum of 72 hours for the banner to be displayed.
The banner permit fee is $50.
$25 Grommet fee if grommets need to be added.
Drop off the banner to be displayed and make your permit fee payment in the Town Administration Office, suite 120, located in Town Hall at 49 N. Wayne St. Danville, IN 46122. Banners are expected to be picked up from the Town Hall Administration Office within 14 days after the banner display end date. The banner display renter may be subject to a disposal fee of $25 if the banner is not picked up within 14 days.
Office Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 - 4:00 pm (closed 12 pm-1 pm for lunch).
Banner Requirements:
All banners must have grommets spaced every foot around the perimeter.
**The Indiana Department of Transportation recommends that all word messages on signage follow the minimum ratio of 25mm (1 inch) of letter height
per 12m (40 ft) of legibility distance. If possible, 25mm (1 inch) of letter height per 10m (33ft) of legibility distance should be used
