Make a Payment

All billing and collections of water, wastewater, and stormwater are administered by the Clerk-Treasurer.

Payment Methods:  Cash, check, money order, ACH Debit, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. 

Utility Billing:  The Danville Municipal utility billing cycle begins with meter readings beginning around the 1st of the month.  Bills are mailed no later than the 15th of the same month.

Billing Due Date:  Payments are due in the Utility Billing & Collection Department located at 49 N Wayne Street (Danville Town Hall) on the 4th of each month.

 Penalties:  If payment is not received by the due date a 10% penalty is applied on the 5th of the month.

 Disconnect Fee:  A $50.00 disconnect fee is charged according to the Town ordinance to all accounts that are disconnected due to failure to pay.  This fee is required before the service will be turned back on.

ACH Debit Authorization:

Any application must be completed in full by the customer (account holder) wishing to make a monthly payment of their utility bill via ACH/Debit.  The Clerk-Treasurer will schedule all ACH/Debits to take place on the 1^st of the month unless it falls on a holiday or weekend, which would be on the next business day prior to the due date.  The Clerk-Treasurer reserves the right to deny any application or to change the processing date.

All Ordinance Violations issued by the Town of Danville are paid to the Clerk-Treasurer who serves as the Violations Bureau Division.

Ordinance violation fees can be paid in person at the Clerk-Treasurer's office or can be put in the drop-box. Give us a call at 317-745-4180 ext. 7000 with any questions.
